Minnesota - About HIMSS Minnesota -

The Minnesota Chapter of HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting a better understanding of health care information and management systems.

The MN Chapter is dedicated to providing high quality information and activities to our growing membership, currently comprised of approximately 450 healthcare information professionals from across this state (and
beyond).

While our focus is on topics of interest to our diverse membership, we also dedicate our efforts towards advocacy, RHIOs, professional development, and
scholarship. Recently, the chapter achieved Presidential Advocate Status - the first chapter ever to do this! This is especially exciting since our
advocacy program began just six months earlier.

MN HIMSS also provides the opportunity and venue for local professionals to exchange information about current issues and to learn about topics that enable them to make better choices for both themselves and their organizations.
