Health IT Policy in 2010

We continue to face multi faceted changes in our industry. Keeping on top on who is doing what is a difficult task. Each year MN HIMSS draws on our national resources to provide clarity at the national level. This year we are focused on Healthcare IT policy. Our speaker, Meredith Taylor, plans to provide a view into how the Healthcare Advisory Committee is spending $30 billion dollars on IT. In addition she will review how congress will leverage health IT in future healthcare policy. We all know that once a year is not enough to stay on top of the changes and Meredith Taylor will advise us on how we can become engaged with health IT policy and advocacy activities at both the state and national levels.
