The Veterans Integrated Service Network 23 (VISN 23) is one of 21 VA service networks that provide health care for the nation's veterans through quality patient care, education and research. The VISN 23 IT organization provides the technology infrastructure that supports VISN 23 in achieving its goals of providing health care value through excellence in customer satisfaction, cost-effectiveness, quality outcomes, access and improved patient functional status. Currently, the VISN 23 IT organization is focused on using information technology to establish an integrated virtual department across Patient Service Lines and facilities.
