The Minnesota Chapter of HIMSS is excited to announce its 7th annual Health Information Technology Institute, which will take place on May 21, at the University of MN Carlson School of Management.
This year's conference is titled "Payers, Providers, and Politics, Oh My!," and will feature keynote speeches from Johanna Berg, Chief Information officer of the Minnesota Department of Human Services and Jeff David, HIMSS Senior Executive. This is an all-day event with technical, clinical, payor, and vendor breakout tracks facilitated by local experts.

National Volunteer Week is April 27-May 3, so it is a fitting time for the chapter to announce its new board members for the upcoming 2008-2009 fiscal year, which begins July 1.
The Minnesota Chapter of HIMSS could not function without all the tremendous efforts of its volunteer board members. Thank you to the following chapter leaders for offering their time for the upcoming year. Please note, ballots were not sent out this year due to single nominations for the elected roles.
