The HIMSS-MN Chapter is please to have Dr. David Martin of UnitedHealth Group discuss the impact of demographic trends on our healthcare system.  The title of his talk is Computers, Medicine, and the Non-Perfectibility of Man.

Mark your calendars and escape from the cold!  This event is free to HIMSS-MN members. Others may attend even if they are not HIMSS members, for only $30. 

The objectives of the program are:

1. Identify some of the special issues that can be anticipated with "aging-in boomers"
2. Learn about some of the problems inherent in using clinical guidelines for medical decision-making and assessment of quality
3. Be informed about the Delineation of some of the promises and obstacles of remote monitoring
