Minnesota Chapter of HIMSS
June 29, 2000 Board Meeting

• Mike will complete the standards form and submit it to National.  It must be at National by July 31.  Ray will send Mike a hard copy of the past standards sent to National

•  Bobbie will write about the chapters partnership with MHIMA.

• Patty with verify with National they have the name / address changes of chapter president

• Ray and Bobbie with both be attending.  
• Ray will already be in Chicago and not need travel arrangements, however hotel accommodations will be needed. 

• Ray will submit a list of recommended board/chairpersons to the Board by July 7^th.
• Board members will review list and provide feedback to Ray by July 12^th.

• Discussed changes made by Ray
• Motion was made to accept the changes, it was seconded and approved by the board

• Current standings
• Dana has the form needed to add her and Ray’s name to the checking account
• HIMSS purchased a copy of Quickbooks

• Date: Tentatively set for July 18^th.  Ray will confirm with Carl
• Location: Bennigans off 394 & Louisiana

• September  27^th with the 20^th as a backup (no holidays appear to conflict)
• Woodwinds and Children’s (St. Paul) are possible locations.  Ray will confirm

• MHIMA will partner with us again and are determining who will be our laison
• Ray will contact Pat Biesbore about setting up a meeting
• John Fraiser’s name was mentioned as a possible speaker

• 2^nd Quarter Newletter is due
• Following article should be sent to Mike by July 12^th.
