Cindy and Dana put together a
letter to National (attached) and sent that and a check for
$1,000.00 to support the National
Scholarship

Updates/Plans - Jeff

March
update: per
Scott we have 20 HIMSS members signed up so far. 14
attending at HCMC and 6 attending at Mayo. Clark stated he
has at least 3 coming to St. Lukes. Per Jeff all is set and
testing will be 3/22 for all sites. Jeff has asked Mr. Page
for an abstract or handouts for the
meeting.

May
update: requests for
bio's and abstracts have been sent out. Mayo has sent theirs
in already. Jeff will send Andy a copy of what he received
from the speakers from Mayo. Brochures are coming soon, and
a decision was made on the background for the brochures.
Mayo has stated that we may not distribute the Power Point
presentation, but may distribute the abstract of their
speaker.
Sponsorship Update - Steve P.
Dana
talked with Steve P., he will follow up with Fairview and
Cavio, U of M is sending a check. We have received an
$8,000.00 check from Quadramed, Dana is following up with
National on this.
Treasurers
Report - Cindy
Net income (excluding Quadramed check)
was $5390.86. Total liabilities and equity was
$29,662.14.
Publishing
Update - Tom
Program reminder for the March program
went out today. Next reminder will be next Tuesday, and the
final reminder will go out March 21st. The next newsletter
will go out in May. Assignments for the next newsletter will
be talked about at the next Board meeting. Assignments will be
due April 30th to Tom.
Membership

Per handout
(attached) we have 383 total members. Breakdown Is:
National members - 256
CHIME members - 16
Complimentary members - 39
Chapter only members - 33

Educational
Update - Ray
We now have a reporting form for
CEU's
Other -
Dana
At
the National convention, Dana and Shawna met with Nancy
Wedell. The
meeting went well.
Communication between National and our chapter was
discussed as well as Nationals structure and goals (see
attached).
